LandSeaLot at The Ocean Race Europe: Empowering Coastal Observation
This summer, LandSeaLot will be present at several stops along The Ocean Race Europe, one of the longest and most challenging global sporting events.
The Ocean Race Europe will see the world’s best sailors in competition, and will bring together major Ocean stakeholders including researchers and coastal communities. LandSeaLot invites Ocean Race attendees to discover and get involved with our coastal observation efforts, and will host interactive demonstrations of the latest observation technology and community efforts in Portsmouth, Cartagena and Genoa.
At our interactive stand, discover the transformative potential of low-cost sensor technology. We will demonstrate accessible devices and discuss how LandSeaLot’s broader suite of innovative low-cost sensors also measures crucial parameters like water temperature, salinity, pH levels, and even microplastics. These accessible tools are filling critical data gaps, providing real-time insights that enable more rapid responses to emerging environmental threats.
Every local observation contributes to a global understanding, directly informing evidence-based decision-making for enhanced ocean health, climate resilience, and the development of sustainable blue economies. Join us to learn how your involvement can support vital research, foster robust community partnerships, and help us gather public perceptions on effective marine environmental stewardship.
Visit the LandSeaLot stand at The Ocean Race stopover and discover how your involvement can chart a course towards a healthier, thriving ocean for all.
