Giulia Dapueto is a project manager at ETT S.p.A. She has a background as a marine ecologist with a PhD in Marine Sciences, obtained in 2019. She specialises in the management and coordination of projects and the development of decision support systems for marine-coastal-urban spatial planning. She is an expert in data management, manipulation and (statistical) analysis, spatial analysis, and the implementation of models through integrated information systems.
Giulia collaborates on several national, international, and European projects.
Within the LandSeaLot project, she contributes to WP4 “Increasing the observation capacity” by focusing on the identification of cost-effective sensors and devising a procedure for their acquisition. She also supports WP6 “Data Management and services” by overseeing data management, ensuring that data and metadata conform to FAIR principles and are standardised for harmonization.
Her responsibilities as part of the LandSeaLot team include guaranteeing the interoperability and compatibility of sensors with the LandSeaLot data management infrastructure as well as with external integrators such as EMODnet, Copernicus, and SeaDataNet.
