Cintia Bonanad

Cintia Bonanad is a Marine Scientist from the Catholic University of Valencia with a master’s degree in Oceanography from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. In her thesis, she examined extreme wave storm properties, as well as the variability of the wave parameters during a storm evolution, in terms of the driving synoptic meteorological conditions. During her academic formation, she carried out few sampling practices, having also participated in an ocean survey campaign, under the RAPROCAN project, led by the Spanish Institute of Oceanography and the Oceanography and Global Change Institute wherein, in addition, the deployment of a buoy belonging to the ARGO Program was undertaken. Her work serves to integrate +ATLANTIC CoLAB in the numerical modelling area.
