Oonagh will support the Seascape Belgium team and the consortium to generate impact and legacy for the project, in particular contributing to the development of policy-relevant recommendations towards ‘Enhancing & Sustaining Observations of the Land-Sea Interface’. She has over 25 years of experience working in environmental sciences, initially as a molecular biologist in the fisheries and aquaculture domain, before moving into the science policy arena in 2012. Related to LandseaLot, Oonagh has significant experience in strategic communication, stakeholder facilitation, and the development of targeted outreach products. She has a B.Sc. and a Ph.D. in Genetics from Queen’s University, Belfast.
