Luís Figueiredo has a MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specialization in Renewable Energy from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP). He elaborated his master thesis on “Electric Mobility and Decarbonisation of the Economy” where he idealised a super-fast charging station for electric vehicles integrated in the medium voltage electrical network of the city of Porto, evaluating the impacts on the network and the economic viability of the project. He is contributing to the EMODnet river data services and remote sensing analysis.
