Fabíola Silva is a meteorologist with expertise in weather, climate, and in using Earth Observation (EO) to investigate atmospheric circulation patterns, including climate modes and teleconnection patterns to verify numerical models, applying Machine Learning (ML) techniques. She has a Master’s degree from the University of São Paulo where she studied the impact of Sea Surface Temperature (SST) anomalies in the Eastern Tropical Pacific (ENOS) and Atlantic Tropical (Atlantic Dipole) ocean on atmospheric circulation patterns conducive to anomalous precipitation events in the Northeast of Brazil, from the perspective of the equatorial wave theory.
